Ian Ford-Robertson

Owner and Financial Adviser

Meet our team of financial advisers based in Chelmsford, here to support you in creating and managing wealth.

Ian started his career in banking and became an IFA at only age 24. He was the youngest IFA in the country at the time, according to the then regulator.

He set up his own IFA business in March 2022 to create a younger, more dynamic firm, while continuing to look after his long-standing clients. Many clients and their younger families have been advised by Ian for over 30 years.

As well as developing numerous, long standing Private and Corporate Client relationships over the years, Ian is overseeing the growth of the firm, with two recent new entrants to assist him (Harry and James). Ian instils the value of integrity, attention to detail and client care from day one and will continue to champion these causes.

James Maine

Financial Adviser

James is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. James has over 20 years’ experience working in the financial services industry.

James has worked with a varied client base, ranging from young professionals to retirees and business owners. James is passionate about providing clients with comprehensive holistic financial planning solutions to help them achieve their financial goals and aspirations.

Harry Beardon

Adviser Support

Harry started working at his career at Man & Co – a medium sized accountancy firm in Southend, where he managed a small team of trainee accountants.

In 2022 Harry decided the new path of his career would be in Financial Planning and is studying towards his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and has 2 exams to go.

Outside of work Harry enjoys cooking, golf and kayaking.
